The Midnight Aviary, Dressing Table - Hand Crafted

This dressing table is a piece I poured so much creativity and care into. I wanted it to feel like a moment captured from nature — as if a tree branch had gently swept across the furniture and left behind birds, blossoms, and movement. To create this effect, I used Clay Moulded Furniture, shaping and piecing them together by hand to form the flowing branches, delicate blossoms, and elegant birds that dance across the surface.

Once the sculptural elements were in place, I painted the entire piece in a deep navy blue, allowing the colour to create a rich, dramatic backdrop. The gold birds add a touch of elegance and warmth, catching the light beautifully and standing out against the darker tones. The combination of texture, sculpture, and colour gives the dressing table a truly eye‑catching presence — it feels both luxurious and poetic.

This piece blends my love of texture, storytelling, and fine detail. It’s not just a dressing table; it’s a sculpted artwork designed to bring a sense of beauty, calm, and enchantment into any room.
