“Wendy” is a piece that carries more than colour and craftsmanship — it carries a story.

Named in honour of my late grandmother, Wendy, and with a gentle nod to Peter Pan’s Wendy Darling, this hand‑painted original design is a celebration of everything she loved: soft purples, delicate florals, and the quiet beauty found in nature. Every brushstroke was placed with her in mind, and every detail reflects the warmth she brought into the world.

The front of the piece blooms with layered florals in her favourite shades of lilac, violet, and soft lavender. Along the sides, textured leaf designs add depth and movement, creating the feeling of a garden growing around the furniture itself. And nestled among the artwork is the uplifting reminder:

“Happiness blooms from within.”

This quote felt perfect — a message she lived by, and one I wanted this piece to carry forward.

“Wendy” is more than a piece of furniture. It’s a tribute. A keepsake. A little piece of my heart painted into wood and colour. It will always hold a special place in my story, and I hope it brings the same sense of comfort, beauty, and gentle joy into the home it eventually belongs to.
